Christie Akers is the dedicated owner and principal of Profusion Performing Arts, a premier dance studio located in Humble, Texas. With a passion for dance and a commitment to fostering a nurturing environment, Christie has been instrumental in guiding students through various dance disciplines, including ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, tap, jazz, hip hop, aerial silks, acro, and pom. Her daughter, Ayran, plays an integral role in the business as well, managing the aerial silks program and contributing to the studio’s mission. Together, Christie and Ayran emphasize quality dance technique within a Christian setting, equipping students with the tools necessary to achieve their personal best through training, mentorship, and community outreach.

Experience all the different dance genres we offer, tailored to your age group. (Please call them to reserve your spot.) Their end-of-year recital takes place in June, so we recommend starting by February or March at the latest. But don’t worry if you miss that window—they also offer an exciting summer sessions
